Summer 2024/25!

SUMMER OVERVIEW:

​

The Titans Summer product will include 5 rounds of grading, a regular season and  2 weeks of finals. 
The regular season will run over term 4 & 1 the following year with the finals being played in the last 2 weeks of term 1. You will find the season dates below. 
Age grouping is done in calendar year groups (age cut off being December 31).

Registrations for the Summer 2024/25 season will open early in term 3. You can register interest via the form on our home page later in term 2.

SEASON OUTLINE:
 

TRAININGS:
Starting on Monday October 7th tipping off the grading phase of the season on Saturday October 12th. Venues are all across the Boroondara area and we do everything we can to accomodate day and time requests. Teams can opt to train outdoors at their schools (or not at all) at a reduced season rate. This is common for the older age group teams.

GAME DAY:

Games are played at local venues across the Hawthorn/ Balwyn/ Ashburton/ Camberwell/ Richmond/ Kew space.  On Saturday, younger age groups play first (U9s starting as early as 8:30am and then the age groups follow in order from there with the older players on court around 6:30pm (Under 18s). We also offer Under 8s on a Friday night. This is a new initiative and was a huge success for the league in the Winter season. 25 teams entering and interest already growing for Summer. These games are currently played at Kew High, Balwyn High.

On Sunday afternoons/evenings, we have our U22 competition. This is based mainly out of Camberwell Grammar and Kew High.

 

Games run as 2 x 18 minute halves of basketball with the clock stopping in the last 2 minutes of the second half.
